Job Description
1. Franteractive has a couple of high-traffic portals which are in the process of wikification / blogification to improve visitor traffic further. For example, we publish articles regularly on franconomics.com. We intend to have two versions of all future articles --- one will be an original version, and the other will be a Wiki version which the readers can review and change. You will be expected to co-author original articles after conducting the needed due-diligence / research.2. You will also be required to come up with new ideas on how to make Franconomics.com the go-to-site for a broad-based education in Economics for the average Internet user in ALL English-speaking countries: USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, India, Philippines, etc...
3. You will be engaged in viral marketing of newly published polls, articles, and podcasts.
This is a paid internship, and compensation is based on deliverables. You can also use the Internship hours to get college credit. Franconomics.com is on its way to becoming an important medium in terms of educating (and entertaining) Americans on how to decide when to invest in real-estate, equity and debt markets; how to participate against the Value Drain(tm) of trillion dollars from the United States Treasury to the coffers of failed Wall Street banks); etc. We consider interns to be part of our team.
Job Qualifications
1. Must be enrolled in Business / Economics / Journalism / Political Science in any US accredited School / College / University.2. Ideal for students trying to pursue a career in business / finance / economics.
3. Must own a laptop.
4. Must be a US Citizen / Green Card Holder.

1. Technology Research - You will be given some opportunities to do market research in a number of technical areas: hardware, software, clustering, SaaS, SOA, cloud computing, etc. Your work will aid in publication of research documents which will be similar to and which will compete with analyst documents from established firms like IDC, Gartner, and Forrester. This is cutting edge work, for which we will employ the best practices as outlined in software.franteractive.com, and our strategy portal: http://www.franteractive.net. We intend to supply these research documents to various stakeholders: CIOs of big businesses, CEOs of start-ups, VCs in bay area, etc. Working on one of these projects can provide you the needed skills and experience, should you have a desire to pursue a high-powered, high-visibility career in technology / entrepreneurship some day.
2. Viral Internet Marketing - No cold calling required, you will be required to enroll our websites on other services.
You will have the option to transfer hours devoted to the above and similar other projects for college credit. You will be compensated based on delivery.
